Our top of the hill Black tea is more oxidized than any other. It is stronger than any other tea that is less oxidized. Black teas are processed in either two ways, CTC (Crush, Tear, Curl) or Orthodox. The CTC method is more efficient for medium and lower quality leaves. The Orthodox process is for the processing of high-quality leaves by hand or machine. The Hand process has been highly preferred for the maintenance of quality and its blending for several years.

Green tea has become the raw material for extracts used in various beverages, health foods, dietary supplements and cosmetic products. Many varieties of green tea have been produced in countries where it is grown. These varieties may vary substantially due to variable growing conditions, horticulture, processing and harvesting time.
White tea is made from buds and leaves of the Chinese Camellia sine sis plant. The leaves and buds are allowed to wither in natural sunlight before being lightly processed to prevent oxidation or further processing of the tea. The name "white tea" derives from the fine silvery-white hair on the unopened buds of the tea plant, which gives the plant a whitish appearance. The drink itself is not white or colorless, but pale yellow.
